There’s nothing like an upcoming baby to spur you on to complete 1001 projects that “must be done before baby gets here.” (Does anyone else do this sort of thing?) Why we didn’t spend the past few years chipping away on these projects is beyond me, but thanks to Isaac, we now have things like… a new kitchen.
Without close-up photos of our former rusty sink, crooked and scraped up cabinets, dilapidated dishwasher, mismatched refrigerator, and peeling laminate countertops, the impact is not nearly as dramatic. But trust me when I say, “Wowsers!” (Not only that, but our kitchen and dining room look like they’ve doubled in size! “Thankful” is just not a strong enough word for this!) Unfortunately, I have no photos of the fridge because that part of our kitchen is still in the works!
So… would you like to join us for a cup of coffee here at Half-a-Hundred Acre Wood? If you’re ever in Middle Tennessee, give us a shout. We’d love for you to visit us!
