And… for those who are wanting to follow up their American history et al studies from this year, here’s a list of Usborne books related to American history & geography, human anatomy, chemistry, and origins along with basic math and fine arts. (For Classical Conversations families, this would correspond to Cycle 3.)
For a little over two years, I embarked on an adventure as an Independent Consultant of Usborne Books & More to fulfill a dream I have for our family. While we still have the dream of working together in a family business, consulting with Usborne ended up requiring too much focused time on the computer (specifically, on social media), which prevented me from doing the very thing I had originally intended: to connect better with and spend more time with my husband and children. It also prevented me from being able to spend what time I could on this website encouraging and providing resources for parents. While I still love many of Usborne’s books, consulting was not a good fit for me.
The following list of Usborne books was from Usborne’s product listing in 2014. Some of these books are no longer available via Usborne. However, I have provided links below to Amazon listings, in case you are interested in the books.

This is not an exhaustive list of Usborne books, but this is a large number of the books available that correlate in some way to our memory work for Cycle 3.
If you’re curious about some of these books, I put together some review videos when I was consulting. One that may especially be of interest is this Usborne Greek Myths Comparison video and an inside look at the First Thousand Words in Latin. [Yep, some GENUINE entertainment here, folks! You don’t want to miss it!]
